Within easy reach of the A 20 motorway, the main link route from Paris to Toulouse, the south of France and Spain or the A89 running east/west linking the Alps with the Atlantic. The Monedieres is an area of stunning extremes; beautiful rolling countryside (puy) plateau, heather and forests. The whole area is steeped in history and geography with innumerable charming hamlets, villages and small towns, each with an individual character. Madranges is an hour south of Limoges with commerce, shops and services at all levels. Tulle and Brieve are nearer and both offer an essentially eclectic mix of services; social, municipal, culture and retail. Pompadour, home of the National Haras, is close by with it's many equestrian events and galas throughout the year.

Limogues has a very good airport with regular links to Paris, Stanstead, Liverpool the East Midlands and Southampton airports. Brieve airport is due for expansion in the Spring of 08 offering another route by air to the uk. When it happens, this may affect property prices in the area.
