Nearby Ussel offers excellent shopping, a hospital and the commercial centre for the area. Local flights are possible from various regional airports including Clermont Ferrand , Limoges and soon Brive, which expects direct flights from London City Airport. Limoges (80 minutes) already enjoys regular flights to Stanstead, East Midlands, Liverpool and Southampton.

Go skiing nearby at "Monts Dore" off the A89 (10 minutes)
